NP Outdoors is a family-owned outfitter based in Gualeguay, Entre Ríos — specializing in wingshooting and fishing trips in Argentina since 2006. Founded by Ignacio "Nacho" Pradal, the company is built on one principle: personal service, from the first email to the moment your transfer returns to Buenos Aires.

Dove Hunting
High-volume wingshooting with Eared Dove across productive fields surrounding both lodges, September through May. Dedicated field assistants per hunter, all logistics included (shells $25/box).
Golden Dorado
Cast & Blast fishing add-on — guided river sessions on the Gualeguay, just 15 minutes from the lodge. All tackle and rods provided. Available September through March.

Location
Santa Rosa is located near Gualeguay, in Entre Ríos — a fertile farming region holding exceptional numbers of doves throughout the season. Most guests arrive at Ezeiza (EZE) and transfer directly to the estancia — often arriving in time for a half-day hunt.

The afternoon before dove hunting is the perfect time for a visit. BordeRío is a short ride from the lodge — your team handles the transfer and reservation. Walk the vineyard, descend into the underground wine cave, and sit down for a private Malbec tasting before heading back to the field.

Before You Travel
Passport & Entry
A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity is required. US, EU, Australian, NZ and Canadian citizens generally need no visa for Argentina — always confirm with your country's consulate before departure. NP Outdoors can assist with any documentation questions.
Currency & Payments
The local currency is the Argentine peso. US dollars and major credit cards are widely accepted in Buenos Aires hotels and restaurants. ATMs can be unreliable — bring a small amount of small-denomination USD bills for taxis, tips and incidentals during your Buenos Aires stay.
Electricity
Argentina uses 220V at 50Hz with two or three-prong round plugs. A universal travel adapter is recommended. Santa Rosa Lodge has stable power supply and generator backup throughout the property, along with reliable Wi-Fi coverage.
Health & Vaccinations
No specific vaccinations are required for Entre Ríos. Bring personal medications in your carry-on. The lodge has a first-aid kit and our team is trained in basic field care. The nearest hospital is in Gualeguay, approximately 20 minutes from the lodge.
Clothing & Packing
In Buenos Aires: smart-casual is the norm — jeans and a nice shirt cover most situations. At the lodge, pack lightweight breathable clothing in neutral tones (khaki, green, tan). Full laundry service is available daily — no need to overpack. A light rain jacket in muted colors is recommended.
Safety in Buenos Aires
Exercise the same awareness you would in any major city. Keep a photocopy of your passport separate from the original, store valuables in your hotel safe, and be mindful of your phone in busy areas. The airport corridor and most tourist zones are well-patrolled.
Firearms & Import
NP Outdoors coordinates all gun import permits and customs paperwork. Alternatively, rent high-quality 20-gauge semi-automatics directly from the lodge — no import required. Declare all firearms on arrival and follow our team's guidance throughout the process.
Communications
Argentina uses GSM networks — most international plans work. WhatsApp is the standard communication tool in Argentina. The lodge has reliable Wi-Fi. Nacho is reachable by WhatsApp at +54 9 3444 634791 at any time during your trip planning and stay.
